About the Artist:
After graduating from high school in 1965, I studied art & design at the School of Art & Design in Philadelphia, PA. After graduating, I enlisted in the Marine Corps from 1969 to 1972. My primary MOS was field Radio Operator with a secondary MOS of Illustrator. After being separated from the service I began a career in illustration. Besides working as a freelance illustrator with Creative Freelancers in NY, I also worked as a staff illustrator with a publishing company and later became art department supervisor where I retired in 2016. I enjoy working on wildlife, landscape and portraiture and work primarily in acrylic and pastels. I can be reached at David E. Schuppert on Facebook.
