About the Artist:
I am a Lifelong Learning Instructor, visual artist and writer living in Virginia. Raised in an Air Force family, I was born in Japan and claim California as my home state. My military career began when I entered UC Berkeley and joined the Air Force ROTC program (Psychology, class of '75). Upon commissioning, I entered 18 months of air traffic control training and subsequently, earned my private pilot's license. I've been stationed mostly in the Southeast, as well as the Pacific, Europe, and in 1990, I deployed to Desert Shield/Storm. In 1996, I retired with her husband and children in Virginia.
